About Shari
I have 25 years of prosecutorial experience, most recently serving as Deputy District Attorney General for the 10th Judicial District. However, what I cherish the most is the opportunity to pursue justice and ensure the safety of my community.
Being a prosecutor allows me to do what is right, specifically for people who can't do it themselves, making the community safer in the process. I'm passionate about seeking justice for those who have been wronged, and do everything possible to keep victims safe in the process.
The District Attorney General is the highest ranking law enforcement official in the district.
In my present role as District Attorney General, I manage a range of responsibilities, including:
- Prosecuting all criminal matters
- Advising and supporting law enforcement
- Meeting with victims and witnesses of crime
Over the past 25 years, I have relentlessly sought what is right and just in every single case. I've got what it takes to continue the role of District Attorney General for the 10th district.
We need the most qualified person for the role of District Attorney General in the 10th Judicial District.
- Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication with a minor in English Literature and American History from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga
- Doctorate of Jurispudence from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville College of Law in 1993 and passed the bar exam that same year
- Committee Member, Alcohol and Drug Regional Planning Committee, Tennessee Department of Health
- Board Member, High School Criminal Justice Academy Executive Board
